How are you living? Abundantly or in scarcity? Hopeful or Hopeless?

We all have power, but most of our power is underutilized or misdirected. What power am I talking about, I am talking about the power of our spoken & written words.

Have you ever noticed that all fairytales begin with once upon a time? Ever Wonder Why? Words take you places, put you into things and take you out as well.

We have all heard it said, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. In the physical, this is sort of true. Words travel further and hit harder than any stock or stone. Words cut through the flesh of the mind and land in the boneyards of the soul.
Words hurt long, well past the healing bruises and mended bones. Words hurt the soul when spoken with malice and fired with evil intent. Wars start with a word, life is sacrificed with a word. By a word a person is bound, by a word a person is freed. Words build up or tear down the world in which you live.

World's are built and destroyed by mere words. Wars started and ended with a well-phrased word or miss understood words. It's all in the words, the lasting power.

We are responsible for the words we speak. My words will only help or hurt you if you come into agreement with them.
The words that benefit us the most are the words we speak.
What are you saying to yourself after the other person as long stopped talking, is what really matters? What you tell yourself about yourself is what will build up or tear down. Are you willing yourself slowly with your words? As your words string through the air like a well-played tune. Words of death are they in Harmony with what you have already said, if so then you're already dead. Your death was in the form of verbal assignation, you have died by your own words.

Do you allow Rivers of life to flow from your lips or destruction of hot lava to scorch all that comes into its facility? We build up or tear down our souls by the words that come from our mouths.
Some would say I was only kidding, why are you so sensitive? Others may say it was just a joke don't be so literal. The reality is those words are seeds that will germinate, in time produce a harvest in the life of all that heard it. We should not speak so careless, we are to watch over our words for them to perform. This breaks down to mean, carefully place your words to ensure they produce what you intended. Many relationships are damaged, sometimes destroyed due to a miss-placed word.
Speak the truth, speak life and do it all in the spirit of love.  (Reference 1 Cor 13:4 -12) To speak with love is to speak with kindness, to speak with patients to speak with a long-suffering heart. Not taking any count of the wrong done to you in the conversation, but speaking to build up and heal the listener. Your goal is to always build up the person, provide edification and words of encouragement.

The world is full of broken homes of men, women, and children that have grown up splintered in their minds because of the words spoken to them, over them and around them. Evil, wicked and destructive Words are like stray bullets they don't care whom they may hurt. Life given words hit their targets and fill the listener with hope and possibilities. Ask your self how do you leave people, built up or torn down?

We are Craftsman when it comes to our lives, we build a life of peace or a Haven of turmoil all by what we speak. We are in control of what we see in our life based on what we say. Our world is built on words. Stop saying what you see and start speaking what you desire to have in your life. The just will live by faith, this means a lot of things but in this context, it means declare victory in your mind by thinking yourself victorious. Once you have thought of victory, you will feel victory and once you feel victory you will speak and then act in victory.

If you are speaking defeat, it's because you thought defeat, felt defeat and spoke defeat well before defeat hit the scene. You got defeated in your mind and tongue before you were ever defeated in your life. The Bible teaches us this truth, let the weak say they are strong, some would say why say what you are not, isn't that a lie? No, it's a declaration of faith that will produce a positive result, consider it an affirmation a mental reframing as well as a change of perspective. Your words set the foundation for which you will build your house, your life. Not mine but yours, the only way I can set your foundation is if you come into agreement with them. That takes us back to your words, are the tools that build up or tear down your life.

Build something beautiful today, give a word of life to some unsuspecting stranger.

Speak with Purpose because and you will have what you say.
