Today I choose to be great

Today I refuse to settle for anything less than my all

Today, I refuse to allow life’s circumstances to dictate my lifestyle,

But my commitment to self and the communities in which I live and work

Today I will be true to self and all those I encounter

Today I will live my life with honesty, integrity, and self-respect

I know troubles may come and problems can and will arise,

but today I choose to be happy
