Change the Game

You came packed with purpose, faith, and value to share; arrived in pain, hurt filled rooms and dark atmosphere.

You: Now you question, why did you send me here?

God: you're a solution the world needs, your an answer,
You: me, are you sure?
God: yes, just believe.

Time passes and you grow, pushed to be this and  told to do that, lost your reason now you're far from your track and have fallen into a hard cold season.

Distraction calls, Over here, pursue me. false hope and empty promises.

God: Ignore them, I and I alone will give you the significances and strength you seek. It's a distraction a trap to lure you further away from me. Despite what you think, you matter to the world and to me.

You run to see anyway, could it be true, was this the reason God sent me?
God: No, I told you to follow me, but you had to see. There's nothing here, but pain, doubts, competitions, heartache, fake strength dressed up in fear; anger. All along through my Holy Spirit, I was telling you.
Don't go, that is not the path for you. Doubt caused you to follow them when I encouraged you to follow me.

Heart heavy,  shame, guilt disappointment feel your heart and mind,
God: This is a  burden too weighty for you alone to carry. Give it to me!

Toxic thought floating in the air, whispers in your ear.

You: should I even be here.

You play with the thought for a moment or two. Thought never captured or held captive to examine if it's true. Thoughts just linger, now you believe the thought is coming from you. The thought starts to grow.

Life is a challenge there is no applause, no celebrations, just trial after trial. Now you're alone in a room filled with people, who know nothing about, what eating at you.

The weakness comes, your strength is spent,  here comes that thought with his seven toxic friends.
They begin to yell, "Leave you don't have anything to offer, life would be better if you were dead and gone.

You: contemplate the idea of suicide; Who would miss me, I don't matter anyway?

Take your self out the picture, the toxic seven begin to spew.  No one loves you, what can you do? nothing,
The world doesn't even know your name. Remove yourself from this treacherous game. Just kill yourself, at least then you will be out of this pain.

You pounder the idea for days months and struggle with depression over the years;
still searching for the one reason that you are here.

God: you're not the only one who feels this way. All have lost direction and strayed, from the game they were sent to play. My grace is sufficient and my mercy renews every day. Don't quit, listen to my voice and you will find your way.

You: Who am I, what can I do, I am just a nobody in search of the truth, of why I am here. You say I have purpose, destiny, but where is the proof?

God: You're here for a reason, my purpose, and my plan.  I placed destiny in front of your eyes tied to work,
that requires faith to use what's in your hands.

You: What's in my hand?, I don't know what I can do, the world would be better if I just came back to you.

God: You have to play the game, suicide is not the answer, cancel the lies of the enemy, you are important and yes you matter. I placed you at this moment to solve a problem only you could answer, but you have to be 100 percent your self, no copies only originals.

You: I am caught up in the game of who cares, nothing or no one matters. I don't need them, I am an individual. Not sure if I trust you will be here. Make it plain, please God make it clear.

God: Stand strong and silence this doubt laced chatter. Faith is required, you will not see the end from the beginning, just trust, I will never leave you. Walk with me, losing in the world with me is still winning.

I care, I sent you to be my hands and feet on the Earth, to be sure, I came and died first. I hung on the cross, hands nailed, blood flow from my pierced side. I made myself a body so I could experience all that you would go through, what you call today, I call a gift. You call it present, your present, was already I was and today is pre-sent. Accept the gift.

The world was playing a selfish game, so I waited for this moment in time and I sent you.
Not for fame, fortune or to fit in with the selfish theme of the day, but to remind all that each one came with a purpose and part to play.

You: You let me suffer, fall and look like a fool. Made so many mistakes, how...can..I even begin to live in the light, with so much darkness at my back?

God: Alone. I never left your side, when you fail I was right there with you. You rejected my call, a customized destiny was at the ready. You wanted your pride, that is why you fall. I made you unique, you didn't make me. I made you in my likeness, my image, being a copy of another person isn't one of the options. If you have to copy someone then imitate my son Jesus. He let his light shine so the dark ones could find their way back home to me.

Tell them they matter, them all I know them by name and each one was sent to be bold, victorious and to change the game.

You're a game changer, not a pawn to be played, you're the board, the pieces, and the love they need to see.

You: I trust you,  Father, and I believe. Just tell me what you want from me. You died so I could be free. This is the least I can do, be willing and obedient to what you planned.

God: You're a game-changer and it time you go, tell the world this came directly from me. God of all, loves them very deeply. Tell them "You don't need approval from them, no applause from the crowd should be expected, I know who you are and you are my child whom I will always love, from the foundation of the world you were selected."
Be you, walk-in faith and don't complain, you have to be yourself to fulfill your mission and change the game.
