The Word

I was there in Genesis and I’ll Be there in Revelations.

I have seen the best to the worst and all things in between.

I was there when it started and I’ll be there when it ends.

I don’t falter with changing times or follow the latest trends.

The Heavens could fall and the Earth go up in flames, and

through it all, I’ll remain the same.

I won’t whither in the desert or drown in the deepest of Seas.

Life as you know it could cease to exist, and still, there would be me.

The unchanging Word of God.
